Multiple Select PC Issue

When I use CTRL+ Left Click to select specific assets, I am having two issues. 1- It sometimes doesn't register that I'm holding down CTRL and will just select the next individual asset. 2- As I am selecting pieces with CTRL+ Left Click, the mouse will move slightly and deselect all assets I have previously selected.

    I found this frustrating as well.   1 - The exact issue is that you MUST select an asset first and then, and only then, push CTRL.   2- This issue is particularly annoying when you are trying to select fast and one simple slight drag or multi-click deselects everything . A couple suggestions:    1- A short grace period.    2- A minimum drag range before moving.    3 - Maybe a lock mode so you can only select and not move.  Maybe even put it on the space bar that while you hold it you cannot move assets.
